Albania administrative level 0-3 boundaries (COD-AB) dataset. These administrative boundaries were established in: 2015 NOTE: See COD-AB caveats about a multi-part ADM2 feature. See Caveats about two ADM2 featgure names. The HDX metadata dates are based on the enactment of the most recent administrative structure adjustments on June 21 2015. This COD-AB was most recently reviewed for accuracy and necessary changes in November 2024. The COD-AB does not require any update. Sourced from www.gadm.org and UNHCR Vetting by Information Technology Outreach Services (ITOS) with funding from USAID. This COD-AB is suitable for database or GIS linkage to the Albania COD-PS. No edge-matched (COD-EM) version of this COD-AB has yet been prepared. Please see the COD Portal. Administrative level 1 contains 12 feature(s). The normal administrative level 1 feature type is 'County'. Administrative level 2 contains 61 feature(s). The normal administrative level 2 feature type is 'Municipality'. Administrative level 3 contains 374 feature(s). The normal administrative level 3 feature type is 'Administrative Unit'. This dataset contains Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping products for activation EMSR915. On 05 August 2026, during the morning, several wildfires were reported to have affected the area of Riban village, Mallakaster municipality, Fier district, and Dardhës mountain, Librazhd municipality, Elbasan district. The event was ongoing and spreading. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping was requested to provide burnt area delineation and damage assessment emergency mapping. **Citation:** Copernicus Emergency Management Service (© 2026 European Union), EMSR915 **Product types present in this dataset's resources:** **DEL (Delineation)**: maps the extent of the event itself (eg. flood, fire, landslide boundary). Where a GeoPackage download is available for an Area of Interest/round, it already contains every layer with its official Copernicus styling and colours - prefer it in GIS software over the zipped shapefile download.
This dataset contains Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping products for activation EMSR917. On 11/08/2026 at 12:00, a wildfire was detected in Lurë National Park, Municipality of Dibër, Albania. The fire has affected pastureland and pine forest areas and spread under conditions of high fuel load and low humidity. Ground and aerial firefighting resources were deployed, while firebreaks were established to protect nearby villages at risk. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping was requested to provide wildfire extent and damage assessment mapping to support operational response and planning activities. **Citation:** Copernicus Emergency Management Service (© 2026 European Union), EMSR917 **Product types present in this dataset's resources:** **DEL (Delineation)**: maps the extent of the event itself (eg. flood, fire, landslide boundary). **GRA (Grading)**: assesses damage to individual features (eg. buildings, infrastructure). Where a GeoPackage download is available for an Area of Interest/round, it already contains every layer with its official Copernicus styling and colours - prefer it in GIS software over the zipped shapefile download.
