This dataset identifies departments in Cameroon with high investment potential for rainfed rice production. It supports the National Rice Initiative, which seeks to boost rice production and productivity through investments in irrigation basins, quality inputs, mechanization, storage, processing, and market access. Designed for integration with FAO’s Hand-in-Hand Initiative, the dataset enables evidence-based planning to strengthen food security, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods. **Data creation:** 2025-04-01 **Data publication:** 2025-10-03 **Citation:** FAO. This dataset contains annual, 100m-resolution above ground biomass (AGB) estimates from CTrees, a NASA-affiliated forest-carbon monitoring organization, clipped to this country's boundary from CTrees' global AGB raster. Pixel values are stored as int16, scaled x10 relative to the true value in megagrams per hectare (Mg/ha) -- divide by 10 to get Mg/ha. See the caveats field and resource description for details on how this scale factor is recorded and why it isn't applied automatically by most tools.

Status and trends on U.S. forest location, health, growth, mortality, and production, from the U.S. Forest Service's Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) program. The Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) dataset is a nationwide survey of the forest assets of the United States. The FIA research program has been in existence since 1928. FIA's primary objective is to determine the extent, condition, volume, growth, and use of trees on the nation's forest land. Domain: continental U.S., 1928-2018 Resolution: plot-level (irregular polygon) This dataset was curated and brought to Azure by CarbonPlan.
