INSPIRE - Administrative Units

Denmark's administrative geographical divisions exhibited in generalised scales for presentation purposes are part of DAGI. Data should not be used for management purposes or where current data is needed.

The parish division is part of DAGI and delimits the parishes, which form the framework for ecclesiastical activities and the personal registration tasks assigned to the national church.

Landsdel is part of DAGI and is a statistical division of Denmark into 11 areas for use in reporting to the European Commission (Eurostat).

The Digital Atlas of Denmark's Historical-Administrative Geography (DigDag) is a historical-geographical data collection of Denmark's administrative division from about 1660 until the present day. DigDag is funded by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Development under the National Fund for Research Infrastructure. DigDag Other includes Denmark's other divisions.
