Ask OrionAI, from any page
OrionAI 1.1 puts the assistant one click or one shortcut away on every page, and it already knows what you are looking at.
Until today, asking OrionAI meant going to the Answers page. With OrionAI 1.1 it comes to you: press the sparkle Ask OrionAI button at the top of any page, or Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on a Mac), and a panel opens beside your work.
#It knows what you are looking at
Open a dataset and ask "what could I analyse with this?". Open a form and ask "which questions are often left empty?". Open a dashboard and ask "what stands out in these numbers?". You don't have to describe the page: OrionAI reads what is on it, and a small chip at the bottom of the panel shows exactly what that is. Remove the chip to ask something general.
#Answers you can check
Every answer searches the OrionGIS catalogue as you, so it only draws on data you are allowed to open, and it links the datasets it used. Click one to open it.
#From a question to a map
When an answer points to a map you want, press Make a map. A new Map Studio draft opens with the assistant already building it. Inside Map Studio, Ctrl+K goes straight to the map's own assistant, which can add layers, style them and run analysis on the open map.
#What it costs
Each question uses one OrionAI credit, and the panel shows how many you have left this month. Your plan sets the monthly allowance; see Billing.
This is the first step of a larger plan to make OrionAI part of every page. Next, OrionAI will be able to take actions for you on the page you are on, with a preview to confirm and a way to undo.
