Crash Summary for Midblocks (Last 5 years)
About this dataset

✦ Suggested by OrionAIOverview The Crash Information (Last 5 Years) dataset provides high-level information about reported crashes recorded in Western Australia during the previous five calendar years. Information includes crash location, date, time, severity and crash characteristics, together with information about the different road user and vehicle types involved. Crash data is recorded in the Integrated Road Information System (IRIS) and is provided for information purposes only. Refresh frequency The dataset is refreshed weekly. Intended use This dataset supports analysis of crash locations, trends, characteristics and outcomes. Refer to the data dictionary when interpreting fields, coded values and summary measures. Interpretation A crash may involve more than one unit type. Unit-type measures must not be added together to calculate the total number of crashes. Heavy trucks are also included within the truck category. Refer to the data dictionary for the definitions of each measure. Documentation The Main Roads Crash Data Dictionary describes the available attributes and provides guidance for understanding, interpreting and analysing the crash information, intersection summary and midblock summary datasets. Boulder County crashes mapped from CDOT data. The crash records have a variety of location information, so multiple methods were used to geolocate them, from using lat/long on CDOT roads to geocoding based on the 'loc_x" fields. The CDOT data is intact, except where street names were cleaned up for geocoding matches and city names were fixed. Then, summary information, intersection identification and corridor identification were added. The records include all crashes potentially going back to 1986 that were received from CDOT, and were mappable. This does not account for all crashes during that time period. Due to structural data changes (schema changes), this dataset contains historic crash information from 1999 thru the end of 2020. Crash data going forward will be in a new feature class named “Crashes”.
LINZ Data Service (LDS) Item Page - NZ Addresses: Roads The dataset provides linear geometries against which official road names and street addresses can be recorded. Its purpose is also to enable automated meshblock address reports (for electoral and statistical purposes) so as to identify the presence of a road name in meshblocks where street addresses do not exist. For this dataset (as opposed to the NZ Roads Sections), individual road section geometries have been aggregated to a single road centreline geometry where those subsections share the same name, and are generally contiguous. Because some roads have multiple names for part of their lengths, some road centreline geometries will duplicate parts of other roads even though there is in reality only one road formation. Refer to the NZ Addresses Data Dictionary for detailed metadata and information. These road centrelines do not represent actual road formation, nor do they represent legal access. They must not be considered as topographic, cadastral, or legal. This dataset contains the core attributes of a road to support simple searching or provide a road name context for cadastral data views. Please note: This layer is updated (if updates are available) from the LINZ Data Service. See Details on the right for when data was last updated and LDS layer history for more. Layer availability is unaffected during updates. If you have any questions, please contact us at maps@linz.govt.nz
Boulder County crashes mapped from CDOT data. The crash records have a variety of location information, so multiple methods were used to geolocate them, from using lat/long on CDOT roads to geocoding based on the 'Location_x" fields. The records include all mappable crashes starting from January 1, 2021 and ongoing. Hence, this dataset does not include all crash data received from CDOT. Further, historic crash data can be found in the dataset named “Crashes_Historic”.
