✦ Suggested by OrionAIWeather information: countries where there are weather forecasts available. Pixels with a value higher than the specified threshold (50%) were given a value of -1 (YES response) Official weather observations, weather forecasts and climatological information for selected cities supplied by National Meteorological & Hydrological Services (NMHSs) worldwide. The NMHSs make official weather observations in their respective countries. Links to their official weather service websites and tourism board/organization are also provided whenever available. Weather icons are shown alongside worded forecasts in this version to facilitate visual inspection. By June 2021, WWIS provided official weather information for 2963 cities in which 2819 cities are available with forecast from 139 members while 2177 cities are available with climatological information from 170 members. **Data revision:** 2021-07-01 **Contact points:** Contact: [WMO](mailto:webmaster@worldweather.org) Metadata contact: [OCB Environment](mailto:OCB-Environment-List@fao.org) FAO-UN **Resource constraints:** License CC BY-NC-ND 4.0: Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International Notes to users of the forecast data and climatological information of the WWIS website: 1. Ocean acidification: Areas where pH at surface is below 8.085. Pixels with a value lower than the specified threshold (8.085) were given a value of 1 (YES response) Historical climate data are an ensemble of outputs from CMIP6 earth system models for the time period 1981-2010. **Data publication:** 2022-01-26 **Contact points:** Resource Contact: [IPCC WGI Interactive Atlas](mailto:ipcc-ddc@ifca.unican.es) Metadata Contact: [OCB Environment](mailto:OCB-Environment-List@fao.org) **Resource constraints:** More information on IPCC data license at: https://interactive-atlas.ipcc.ch/license **Online resources:** Surface ocean pH and buffer capacity: past, present and future
Agricultural Economics: countries where more than 30% of the population is employed in the agricultural sector. Pixels with a value higher than the specified threshold (30%) were given a value of 1 (YES response) Employment is defined as persons of working age who were engaged in any activity to produce goods or provide services for pay or profit, whether at work during the reference period or not at work due to temporary absence from a job, or to working-time arrangement. The agriculture sector consists of activities in agriculture, hunting, forestry and fishing sectors. **Data revision:** 2021-01-29 **Citation:** International Labour Organization, ILOSTAT database. Forest cover: areas where forest cover is above 30%. Pixels with a value higher than the specified threshold (30%) were given a value of 1 (YES response) The Dynamic Land Cover map at 100 m resolution (CGLS-LC100) is a new product in the portfolio of the CGLS and delivers a global land cover map at 100 m spatial resolution. The CGLS Land Cover product provides a primary land cover scheme. Next to these discrete classes, the product also includes continuous field layers for all basic land cover classes that provide proportional estimates for vegetation/ground cover for the land cover types. This continuous classification scheme may depict areas of heterogeneous land cover better than the standard classification scheme and, as such, can be tailored for application use (e.g. forest monitoring, crop monitoring, biodiversity and conservation, monitoring environment and security in Africa, climate modelling, etc.). These consistent Land Cover maps (v3.0.1) are provided for the period 2015-2019 over the entire Globe, derived from the PROBA-V 100 m time-series, a database of high quality land cover training sites and several ancillary datasets, reaching an accuracy of 80% at Level1 over all years. It is planned to provide yearly updates from 2020 through the use of a Sentinel time-series. **Data revision:** 2021-12-14 **Contact points:** Contact: [Marcel Buchhorn](mailto:marcel.buchhorn@vito.be) Remote Sensing Unit, Flemish Institute for Technological Research Metadata contact: [OCB Environment](mailto:OCB-Environment-List@fao.org) FAO-UN **Resource constraints:** - The dataset contains modified Copernicus Climate Change Service information [2005-2019]; - Neither the European Commission nor ECMWF is responsible for any use that may be made of the Copernicus information or data it contains. Access to electricity: areas where the access to electricity is higher than 80%. Pixels with a value higher than the specified threshold (80%) were given a value of -1 (YES response) Access to electricity is the percentage of population with access to electricity. Electrification data are collected from industry, national surveys and international sources. **Data revision:** 2022-01-13 **Contact points:** Contact: [DataBank](mailto:data@worldbank.org) The World Bank Metadata contact: [OCB Environment](mailto:OCB-Environment-List@fao.org) FAO-UN **Resource constraints:** license **Online resources:** The World Bank - DataBank World Development Indicators
Terrestrial and marine protected areas. Pixels where there is presence of terrestrial and marine protected were given a value of 1 (YES response) The World Database on Protected Areas (WDPA) is the largest assembly of data on the world's terrestrial and marine protected areas, containing more than 260,000 protected areas as of August 2020, with records covering 245 countries and territories throughout the world. The WDPA is a joint venture between the United Nations Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC) and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA). Data for the WDPA is collected from international convention secretariats, governments and collaborating NGOs, but the role of custodian is allocated to the Protected Areas Programme of UNEP-WCMC, based in Cambridge, UK, who have hosted the database since its creation in 1981. **Data revision:** 2021-12-14 **Citation:** IUCN and UNEP-WCMC (2020).
