Sidewalks

Originally developed as part of the Watershed Approach to Stream Health (WASH) project. It is also for maintenance and asset management. The data dictionary used to collect the data was developed in collaboration with the Boulder County Public Health Project Manager. This data was collected between April and December 2017 by Anderson Consulting Engineers.

The data includes the five condition categories, excellent, good, fair, poor and failed. The data reflects a sidewalk condition index score ranging from 0 to 11. The higher the value, the better the sidewalk condition. The data also includes the primary and secondary material type of the sidewalk. It also entails the 8 most common conditions and the value expressed numerically.

Outlets were field collected within the project area for the Storm Drain System (MS4) GIS Mapping Project for Boulder County Public Health. The data was collected with a Trimble Geo-XH 6000 with a horizontal post-processed accuracy of 2.5 cm (.98in). The data was post processed using the base stations located in and around Boulder County. The data dictionary used to collect the data was developed in collaboration with the Boulder County Public Health Project Manager. This data was collected between April and December 2017 by Anderson Consulting Engineers and is updated by County staff as needed.

Roads and streets from OpenStreetMap (ways tagged highway), with their type, name, surface and other tags. OpenStreetMap is built by a community of mappers; completeness varies by place.
