Every dataset on OrionGIS now has its own page

14 October 2026The OrionGIS team

Open, share and find any dataset from a single public page, then put it on a map in one click.

Finding the right data used to mean opening the catalogue, searching, and hoping the name made sense. Now every dataset on OrionGIS has a page of its own, and anyone can open it.

See what you're getting before you sign in. Each page shows the data on a map, what it contains, its columns and a few sample rows, who published it, its licence, the area and years it covers, and how to cite it.

Share it with anyone. Copy the link or send it straight to WhatsApp, LinkedIn, X, Facebook or email. The link opens the same page for whoever you send it to, with the map preview showing in the chat.

Use it in one click. Open it in a map, add it to a project, save it, download it where the licence allows, or ask OrionAI about it. If you don't have an account yet, a free sign-up brings you straight back with the action done.

Browse by place and theme. Start from a country, a region or a theme, such as Kenya health data, and every matching dataset is there.

Data Explorer got faster too: it searches by keyword and by meaning at once, and every card has View and Save buttons.

Start exploring.
