Overview This feature service provides polygon boundaries for U.S. Environmental Protection Agency National Priority List (NPL) Superfund sites across the United States and its territories. Superfund features are managed by regional teams of geospatial professionals and remedial program managers (RPMs). Feature Layer Data are harvested from regional datasets on a weekly basis to refresh this national dataset and feature services. Superfund Site Boundaries Boundaries represent the footprint of a whole site, defined for purposes of this effort as the sum of all of the Operable Units (OUs) and the current understanding of the full Extent of Contamination. For Federal Facility sites, the total site polygon may be the Facility boundary. As site investigation and remediation progress, OUs may be added, modified or refined, and the total site polygon is updated accordingly.
The purpose of this feature class is to illustrate the location of proposed water points in public water systems in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as collected by Kentucky’s Area Development Districts. The locations of proposed water points along with the basic attribute data concerning those features, are used by the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority, Area Development Districts, public water systems, and other state/local agencies for the purpose of water infrastructure planning, project development, state and federal funding applications, Kentucky State Clearinghouse, capital improvement plans, data analysis, and for any other purpose that will improve the potable water infrastructure and service in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Portions of nine rivers of exceptional quality and aesthetic character were designated as Kentucky Wild Rivers in 1972. Each Wild River is actually a linear corridor encompassing all visible land on each side of the river up to a distance of no more than 2,000 feet. The nine Wild River corridors comprise a total of 114 river miles and 26,961 acres of land. Each section of river is protected in a free flowing state and provides areas for the perpetuation of Kentucky’s wild fauna and flora as well as recreational opportunity. Regardless of ownership, which varies across each section, the Wild River Act sets forth certain restrictions of allowable activities to protect and preserve these areas for future generations. https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/chapter.aspx?id=37693 Onlink Url: https://ky.box.com/v/kymartian-wild-rivers
