The purpose of this feature class is to illustrate the location of water pumps in public water systems in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as collected by Kentucky’s Area Development Districts and provided by the Kentucky Division of Water. The locations of water pumps, along with the basic attribute data concerning those features, are used by the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority, Area Development Districts, public water systems, and other state/local agencies for the purpose of water infrastructure planning and management, project development, asset inventories, capital improvement plans, data analysis, and for any other purpose that will improve the potable water infrastructure and service in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

This approach detects potential landslides by calculating the change in the backscatter coefficient before and after the triggering event using the log ratio approach. False positives such as backscatter change due to flooding, agriculture, and more, are removed by using threshold-based masks made from the topographic slope from the 1 arcsec (∼30 m) resolution NASADEM (NASA JPL, 2020). Using stacks of SAR data reduces noise, and furthermore, the pre-event stack provides backscatter data that is more representative of the pre-event ground surface properties. Finally, to detect landslide areas, the backscatter change raster was thresholded using the 99th percentile to highlight strong signals, and the heatmap was calculated. Pre-event time frame: 2024-01-10 to 2024-09-26 Post-event time frame: 2024-09-28 to 2024-10-17 This map should be used as a guidance to identify areas likely affected by landslides. This is a rapid response product. We have not done any form of manual corrections to remove false positives. Suggested Use: The red and yellow areas indicate potential zones of dense landsliding. Disclaimer: not verified in field and optical imagery has clouds preventing verification. Special-use waters are waters listed in Kentucky Administrative Regulations that are worthy of additional protection. There are two basic categories of special-use waters: those that have higher “Designated Use” protections and those that have higher “Antidegradation” protections. Higher designated uses are “Cold Water Aquatic Habitat” (CAH) and “Outstanding State Resource Water” (OSRW). CAHmeans surface waters and associated substrate that will support indigenous aquatic life, or self-sustaining or reproducing trout populations, on a year-round basis (401 KAR 10:031, Section 4). OSRWmeans surface waters designated by the cabinet pursuant to 401 KAR 10:031, Section 8, and includes certain unique waters of the Commonwealth, including Kentucky Wild Rivers, Federal Wild and Scenic Rivers, and waters supporting federally recognized threatened or endangered species. A water can have both the “CAH” and “OSRW” designation. A water with the tag of “T/E” indicates an OSRW that supports federally threatened or endangered species. Higher antidegradation protection categories include “Outstanding National Resource Water” (ONRW) and “Exceptional Water” (EXC). ONRWs are waters that meet the requirements for an OSRW and demonstrate national ecological or recreational significance. EXCare certain waters whose quality exceeds that necessary to support propagation of fish, shellfish and wildlife and recreation in and on the water. Waters placed in this category are reference reach waters (RR), Kentucky Wild Rivers, some OSRWs and waters with excellent fish or macroinvertebrate communities (401 KAR 10:030 Section 1). RRwaters are a representative subpopulation of the least impacted streams within a bioregion. These streams serve as chemical, physical and biological models from which to determine the degree of impairment (physical, chemical or biological) to similar stream systems in each representative bioregion. These are not necessarily pristine streams, but represent those least disturbed conditions that are attainable in each bioregion. Any water identified as “candidate” is a water identified for a higher designated use or antidegradation category but has not yet been promulgated. Download spatial layer on Box. --- "Exceptional waters" (EXCW) means certain waterbodies whose quality exceeds that necessary to support propagation of fish, shellfish and wildlife and recreation in and on the water. Waters placed in this category are reference reach waters, Kentucky Wild Rivers, some Outstanding State Resource Waters and waters with "excellent" fish or macroinvertebrate communities (401 KAR 5:030 Section 1). "Reference Reach Waters" (R-RCH) are a representative subpopulation of the least impacted streams within a bioregion. These streams serve as chemical, physical and biological models from which to determine the degree of impairment (physical, chemical or biological) to similar stream systems in each representative bioregion. These are not necessarily pristine streams, but represent those least disturbed conditions that are attainable in each bioregion.Categories also currently covered in this data set: Cold Water Aquatic Habitat (CAH) means surface waters and associated substrate that will support indigenous aquatic life, or self-sustaining or reproducing trout populations, on a year-round basis. (401 KAR 10:031, Section 4) Outstanding State Resource Water (OSRW) means surface waters designated by the cabinet pursuant to 401 KAR 10:031, Section 8, and includes certains unique waters of the Commonwealth. CAH, OSRW - Rivers and streams which fall under both of the above categories. Threatened/Endangered (T/E) - Outstanding state resource waters with federally threatened or endangered species. T/E, CAH - Rivers/streams which fall under both the Threatened/Endangered and Cold Water Aquatic Habitat categories.

The dataset contains locations and attributes of blocks, created as part of the Master Address Repository (MAR) for the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) and participating DC government agencies. The blocks used street centerlines information from DDOT. Blocks include named alleys in DC (such as 'WALTER ALLEY NE'). A block represents a street segment which usually has two bordering streets. The coordinates for the blocks are located at the midpoint of the street segment. More information on the MAR can be found at https://opendata.dc.gov/pages/addressing-in-dc. The data dictionary is available: https://opendata.dc.gov/documents/2a4b3d59aade43188b6d18e3811f4fd3/explore. In the MAR 2, the BlocksPt is called BLOCKS_PT and is primarily based off of street data from DC Department of Transportation's Roads & Highways database, it also features additional useful information such as created date, last edited date, begin date, and more.
Polygon features representing Voting Districts, published by the US Census Bureau. Each feature corresponds to a named voting district such as Fort Valley, New Market, or Mt. Jackson. Coverage is limited to the United States.
