Age, Sex, Race, Ethnicity, Total Housing Units, and Voting Age Population. This service is updated annually with American Community Survey (ACS) 1-year data. Contact: District of Columbia, Office of Planning. Email: planning@dc.gov. Geography: District-wide. Current Vintage: 2024. ACS Table(s): DP05. Data downloaded from: Census Bureau's API for American Community Survey. Date of API call: March 11, 2026. National Figures: data.census.gov. Please cite the Census and ACS when using this data. Data Note from the Census: Data are based on a sample and are subject to sampling variability. The degree of uncertainty for an estimate arising from sampling variability is represented through the use of a margin of error. The value shown here is the 90 percent margin of error. The margin of error can be interpreted as providing a 90 percent probability that the interval defined by the estimate minus the margin of error and the estimate plus the margin of error (the lower and upper confidence bounds) contains the true value. In addition to sampling variability, the ACS estimates are subject to nonsampling error (for a discussion of nonsampling variability, see Accuracy of the Data). The effect of nonsampling error is not represented in these tables. Data Processing Notes: This layer is updated automatically when the most current vintage of ACS data is released each year, usually in December. The layer always contains the latest available ACS 5-year estimates. It is updated annually within days of the Census Bureau's release schedule. Boundaries come from the US Census TIGER geodatabases. Boundaries are updated at the same time as the data updates (annually), and the boundary vintage appropriately matches the data vintage as specified by the Census. These are Census boundaries with water and/or coastlines clipped for cartographic purposes. For census tracts, the water cutouts are derived from a subset of the 2020 AWATER (Area Water) boundaries offered by TIGER. For state and county boundaries, the water and coastlines are derived from the coastlines of the 500k TIGER Cartographic Boundary Shapefiles. The original AWATER and ALAND fields are still available as attributes within the data table (units are square meters). Field alias names were created based on the Table Shells file available from the American Community Survey Summary File Documentation page. Data processed using R statistical package and ArcGIS Desktop. Margin of Error was not included in this layer but is available from the Census Bureau. Contact the Office of Planning for more information about obtaining Margin of Error values.

This dataset contains label points for 2020 Census blocks in the United States. Each feature represents a label for a census block, with a geographic identifier (GEOID) and a base name (BASENAME). Published by the US Census Bureau.
Vector features representing 2020 Census ZIP Code Tabulation Areas in the United States, published by the US Census Bureau. Each feature includes a GEOID and base name. Sample rows include ZIP Code Tabulation Areas 16332, 18441, and 19436.
Vector features representing 2020 Census Public Use Microdata Areas (PUMAs) in the United States, published by the US Census Bureau. Each feature includes a GEOID, state code, PUMA code, and a base name describing the area. Sample rows include PUMAs in Illinois and Pennsylvania.
Polygon features representing tribal census tracts in the United States, published by the US Census Bureau. Each feature includes attributes such as land and water area, geographic identifiers, and coordinates. Sample rows show tracts like T006 and T007 with area measurements.

Theme 13.1 is persons at work or unemployed by occupation and sex. Attributes include a breakdown of population by occupation and sex. Ireland is divided into four provinces called Leinster, Ulster, Munster and Connacht. Although they presently do not have any administrative functions, they are relevant for a number of historical, cultural and sporting reasons. The borders of the provinces coincide exactly with the boundaries of the administrative counties. Three of the nine counties in Ulster are within the jurisdiction of the State. This dataset is provided by Tailte Éireann and post processed by CSO for use in this project. Standard set of SAPS variables placed end of other variables that depend on geography type. Area normalisation: We obtain a normalisation area and relevant unit of measure to use. We will get this information from ungeneralised boundaries where possible. Unit of measure will depend on the boundary type as firstly we want to store as Integer so will range from SqKm down to SqM. There will be a degree of rounding carried out and will be calculating geodetic area. Process implemented transforming from ITM to LAEA to calculate the area and do dynamic rounding rounding.
