Download the whole dataset, in the format you need

Downloads now offer Shapefile, KML, GeoPackage, CSV and FlatGeobuf as well as GeoJSON, plus the publisher's original files, and always deliver the complete dataset. Tiled ArcGIS imagery now opens in maps or says clearly why it can't.

  • Choose a format. Download on a dataset page now offers GeoJSON, Shapefile (.zip), KML for Google Earth, GeoPackage, CSV and FlatGeobuf.
  • The publisher's original file. Where a publisher offers their own file (a Shapefile, CSV, GeoPackage, GeoTIFF and so on), it is listed first and downloads exactly as published.

#Fixed

  • Downloads are always the whole dataset. Data from services that hand out features a page at a time (many ArcGIS servers stop at 1,000 or 2,000) now downloads and loads in full, not just the first page.
  • Tiled ArcGIS imagery. Imagery published as cached tiles opens in Map Studio from its tiles instead of failing with an error; imagery the publisher serves only as raw data tiles now says so clearly.
