Follow-ups for the data you download
OrionGIS web 1.13.0Released 21 October 2026
After you download a dataset, OrionGIS sends a few short emails about that dataset (more open data picked from your interests, a one-click way to see it on a map, a prompt to ask Orion AI about it) instead of the general welcome series. Every email now quotes the live size of the open data catalogue.
Changes since 1.12.0.
#New
- Emails about the data you took. When you download a dataset, or sign up from a dataset page, you get up to five short emails over two weeks about that dataset: three more open datasets picked from what you download, follow, save and view, a button that opens it on a map with nothing to install, a prompt to ask Orion AI about it, how to share your map, and how to collect your own data. A step is skipped once you've done it, and the emails stop when you publish a map or a form.
#Improved
- Live catalogue numbers. Welcome and update emails now quote the current number of open datasets, read when the email is sent, instead of a fixed figure.
