County data pages, Markdown dataset pages and an open-data MCP server

Pages for each of Kenya's 47 counties, a Markdown copy of every published dataset page, an open MCP server any AI assistant can use without a key, and data hubs listed in llms.txt.

Changes since 1.15.0.

#New

  • Kenya county data pages. Kenya county GIS data lists all 47 counties, and each county page (for example Nairobi or Turkana) shows the open datasets that cover it, the most local first, with a short introduction.
  • Open-data MCP server. Any AI assistant that supports MCP can add https://orionterrametrics.com/mcp to search and read the open data catalogue, with no account or key. See Use OrionAI from other AI assistants.
  • Markdown copies of dataset pages. Add .md to any published dataset page's address for a plain-text copy with the same facts, for AI tools that prefer Markdown.

  • llms.txt lists the data. It now links the 50 largest country and theme data pages, the county pages, the open MCP server and the Markdown copies.
