Your first map, built for you

New accounts can build a first map in one click from Home, with a country's boundaries, population and one more layer already on it. Publishing a map that isn't in a project now just works.

Build your first map. A new account's Home now starts with one step: pick a country and choose Build my map. OrionGIS makes a saved map with that country's administrative boundaries, its population and one more layer of open data (health facilities, rivers, roads or schools, whichever the country has), then opens it in Map Studio. It is available for 130+ countries. The other ways to start are still there below it.

Publish never stops you. Publishing a map that isn't in a project used to ask you to file it into one first. Now the first publish files it into a My maps project for you and gives you the share link straight away. You can move it to another project any time.
Welcome-back emails open a ready map. The sign-in button in our welcome-back email now signs you in and builds your first map in the same click.
