Build your first map withdrawn

OrionGIS web 1.23.1Released 23 October 2026

The Build your first map card on Home has been withdrawn. Maps start empty again, and you choose every layer that goes on them.

Changes since 1.23.0.

#Changed

Build your first map is withdrawn. It put data on a new map without the user choosing it. A new account's Home is back to its ways to start: make a map, find data, collect field data, build a dashboard or ask Orion AI. Every layer on a map is one you add.
Welcome-back emails sign you in to Home again, without building a map.

Publishing a map that isn't in a project still files it into My maps for you (1.23.0).
