Introducing OrionGIS Data Weekly
A weekly email about open data that's different every week (numbers, a theme, imagery, picks for you), with datasets shown as cards you can open on a map in one click.
OrionGIS indexes more than 25,000 datasets from publishers around the world, and new ones arrive every day. OrionGIS Data Weekly brings the best of it to your inbox, with a different focus each week instead of one long newsletter.
- The first week of the month is about numbers: how big the open catalogue is, how many publishers and countries it covers, and what's new by theme.
- The second week is a theme spotlight: a curated set for one theme, usually the one you work with most.
- The third week is imagery: open satellite, aerial and drone imagery to put under your own data, with an idea of what to do with it.
- Other weeks are picked for you, based on what you download, map, save, view and follow.
Every edition shows real datasets as cards with thumbnails, the same way Data Explorer does. Click one and you land on its page, one step from a map. Orion AI can do the rest.
Data Weekly never shows you the same dataset twice. If you stop opening it, it slows to the monthly numbers edition and then stops on its own. To turn it off, use Weekly data emails under Email on your profile, or the unsubscribe link in any edition. Your other updates stay as they are.
