Changes since 1.14.0.
#New
- OrionGIS Data Weekly. One email a week, each with a different focus that follows the month:
- The month in numbers. How many datasets are indexed and open, how many publishers and countries they come from, what's new by theme as a bar view, and a few new datasets worth a look.
- Theme of the week. A curated set for one theme. It's your own top theme when you have one, otherwise the theme with the most new open data.
- Imagery to map. Open satellite, aerial and drone imagery, leaning toward the places you work, with an idea of what to do with it.
- Picked for you. Open datasets that match what you download, map, save, view and follow, or what people are mapping when there's nothing to go on yet.
- Dataset cards in email. Every Data Weekly email shows datasets as cards with their thumbnail, place and publisher, two to a row, like Data Explorer. Each card opens the dataset's page, one click from a map.
- "Datasets waiting for you". If you haven't been back in a while, one of our check-in emails now lists open datasets picked for you, or the ones people are using most.
#Improved
- Datasets for you is now part of Data Weekly. Data Weekly replaces the weekly suggestions email and never shows you the same dataset twice.
- One clear switch. The profile switch is now called Weekly data emails. If you stop opening Data Weekly, you get only the monthly numbers edition, and after a while it stops on its own.
