Changes since 2.7.0.
#New
- One OrionAI everywhere. In Map Studio, the toolbar's Ask OrionAI button, Ctrl+K and Home's "Make the map" all open the same Ask OrionAI panel you use across OrionGIS. It now works directly on the map you have open.
- Plan card. Before it changes your map, OrionAI shows its plan: what the map will show and the steps it will take.
- Steps as they happen. Each step appears as a short line with a tick, such as "Added administrative boundaries" or "Styled a layer". A step that did not work is marked, so you can see what happened.
- Result card. OrionAI finishes with a card: what the map shows, the data it used with publisher and licence, and suggested next requests you can run with one click.
- Undo a whole request. Press Undo on the result card to put the map back exactly as it was before the request. Edit > Undo (Ctrl+Z) brings the request back.
- Publish from the result. Press Publish on the result card to go straight to Print Layout and publish the map.
#Improved
- A request in Map Studio still uses one credit, however many steps it takes. It stops after a set number of steps or about three minutes, and ends with a result card saying what was done and what is left.
