Austria: Copernicus Vegetation Index Anomaly (FAPAR Anomaly)

Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (FAPAR) is a biophysical dimensionless quantity (its values range from 0/no absorption to 1/total absorption) used to assess the greenness and health of vegetation. FAPAR anomalies can be used as an indicator to detect and monitor the impacts of agricultural drought on the growth and productivity of vegetation. The data is presented in 10-day time composite of the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS).

Natura_2000_Vogelschutzrichtlinie

Biotope inventory Vorarlberg

The Vorarlberg Biotope Inventory records and describes the particularly valuable habitats (biotopes) of Vorarlberg. The following criteria are crucial for inclusion in the biotope inventory: Degree of naturalness, rarity, occurrence of protected species (animal and plant species), occurrence of endangered species and communities, ecological welfare effect, landscape planning significance, national cultural significance, scientific significance The first survey of Vorarlberg's biotopes took place between 1984 and 1989. The inventory was updated from 2005 to 2009. Further information (municipal reports, photos and species lists) can be found in the VOGIS Atlas and on the country's homepage. Reported for INSPIRE. Legal basis: Nature Conservation and Landscape Development Act, § 6 Data source: biotope.shp Attribute table fields and data types: Name (string), aggregated habitat type - AGG_LRTYP (string), biotope number - BIOTOPNR (string), unique area code - BIOTOPCODE (string)
