Sea ports, harbours and ferry terminals. Useful for maritime logistics, supply-chain analysis, and coastal access planning. Coverage reflects where volunteer mappers have been active. Urban areas are usually well represented, remote areas may be sparse. Cross-check critical decisions with local field knowledge. - Source: OpenStreetMap, a free, collaborative world map - Tags: industrial=port, harbour, port, amenity=ferry_terminal, building=ferry_terminal - Part of the country exports on HDX by HOT
Airports and aviation infrastructure: airports, heliports, helipads, runways, terminals, and emergency landing sites tagged via `aeroway`, `building`, or `emergency`. Useful for logistics, evacuation routing, and aerial-response planning. Coverage reflects where volunteer mappers have been active. Urban areas are usually well represented, remote areas may be sparse. Cross-check critical decisions with local field knowledge. - Source: OpenStreetMap, a free, collaborative world map - Tags: aeroway, building, emergency - Part of the country exports on HDX by HOT
Railway lines and stations tagged `railway=*`: rail lines, tram tracks, and stations. Useful for transport accessibility analysis and basemap context. Coverage reflects where volunteer mappers have been active. Urban areas are usually well represented, remote areas may be sparse. Cross-check critical decisions with local field knowledge. - Source: OpenStreetMap, a free, collaborative world map - Tags: railway - Part of the country exports on HDX by HOT
Road network across the area tagged `highway=*`: motorways, residential streets, service roads, footways, and trails. Useful for routing, accessibility analysis, and evacuation planning. Coverage reflects where volunteer mappers have been active. Urban areas are usually well represented, remote areas may be sparse. Cross-check critical decisions with local field knowledge. - Source: OpenStreetMap, a free, collaborative world map - Tags: highway - Part of the country exports on HDX by HOT

In this data profile, target timetable data of bus and rail traffic in Baden-Württemberg, with route , are provided in GTFS format. The timetable data are offered in different coverage. The area "bwgesamt" includes all lines starting or ending in Baden-Württemberg. The area "migebiet" offers a larger coverage, whereby a slightly larger belt is drawn around Baden-Württemberg. The enlarged area is visible in the linked overview. The data without line history are available in the linked dataset. The zipped GTFS data is updated weekly. The timetable data that can be retrieved via the GTFS API and the GeoServer are generated daily, but they are only available on the next day due to a time offset. This also applies to the timetable data shown on the maps. Historical target timetable data Since August 2023, the target timetable data for Baden-Württemberg have been historicised. The data is available in the above update steps (1st and 3rd). Wednesday or Thursday per month) and can be obtained via the following link: List of historical target timetable data Baden-Württemberg with line history The data are available for each traffic network and for "bwgesamt". More information on the historical target timetable data can be found in the corresponding MobiData BW blog post.Vaildierungbericht von "Mobility Database"p>Diea href="https://mobilitydatabase.org/"_blank"target="_blank">"Mobility Database" from MobilityData is also an open data platform that contains publicly available data worldwide in accordance with the GTFS and GBFS specifications. As of June 2025, it includes over 4,000 data sources from more than 75 countries. There are also integrated data quality assessment tools that create detailed reports on the data quality of each individual source. As well as the target timetable data from Baden-Württemberg. available here under the tab "Open Full Quality Report" . It should be noted that only the data of the area "bwgestotal" are checked. Overview of the boardwalks >Here is the full image view of the map.ÖPNV lines by subnets-->. Access The target timetable data Baden-Württemberg are openly available and can either be downloaded as ZIP files or used via the GTFS API. In addition, queries from the GeoServer are available as CSV files under "Data & Resources". The open data set can be integrated into all information systems and maps to inform about the general timetable information.
This dataset provides detailed information on road surfaces from OpenStreetMap (OSM), distinguishing between paved and unpaved roads across the region. Surface information is derived using a hybrid deep learning approach. For methodological details, see: http://arxiv.org/abs/2410.19874 Recently, we also published a new country-level dataset based on PlanetScope satellite imagery with near-complete coverage of all arterial roads. It is available on HDX under the name: "Germany: **Planet** Road Surface". The corresponding paper is available at: https://arxiv.org/abs/2512.04092 Road Surface Statistics Approximately 21.4159 million km of roads are mapped in OSM in this region. Based on AI-derived estimates: - Paved roads: 11.9981 million km (56.0243%) - Unpaved roads: 3.8254 million km (17.8622%) About 6.166 million km (28.7914%) of roads lack surface information in OSM. To reduce this gap, the Mapillary-derived surface dataset provides an additional 1.3618 million km (22.0859%) of surface information. Intended Use This dataset supports transportation planning, infrastructure assessment, climate emissions analysis, and GIS applications. AI Features - pred_class: Model-predicted surface class ("paved" or "unpaved") - pred_label: Binary label (0 = paved, 1 = unpaved) - osm_surface_class: Surface classification derived from OSM tags - combined_surface_osm_priority: Combined classification prioritizing OSM - combined_surface_DL_priority: Combined classification prioritizing DL prediction - n_of_predictions_used: Number of predictions used for estimation - predicted_length: DL-estimated length (meters) - DL_mean_timestamp: Mean timestamp of predictions OSM Attributes - name - name:en - name:* (local language) - highway - surface - smoothness - width - lanes - oneway - bridge - layer - source Urban Classification Attributes - continent - country_iso_a2 - urban (0 = rural, 1 = urban) - urban_area - osm_id - osm_type Data Sources The dataset originates from OpenStreetMap (OSM) and is augmented with deep learning predictions based on Mapillary street-level imagery, combined with the GHSU Global Human Settlement Urban Layer 2019 and AFRICAPOLIS 2020 urban layer.
