Keeping what the publisher said
OrionAI 2.27.0Released 6 November 2026
When OrionGIS reads a statistics table, it now keeps the publisher's own codes, units, dimension roles and notes beside the figures, the first step of the improved indexing engine.
Changes since 2.26.3.
#New
The publisher's own description of each table is kept. Reading a table from a statistics office now also keeps:
- the code behind every label (for example Mongolia's area codes beside the soum names);
- which dimension is the area, the time or the measure;
- the unit of each measure (Thousand heads, Percentage (%));
- the publisher's notes.
These come from PX-Web, JSON-stat, SDMX and the publishers' own metadata. The figures and the tables you download are unchanged.
Units for staff scoring. OrionGIS scores its indexing engine against tables checked by hand. The unit check rises from none of 109 right to 95. No other score moved.
