The publisher's own totals
OrionAI 2.31.0Released 7 November 2026
When a statistics office marks a value as the total of a breakdown, OrionGIS now uses that value for the map's headline figure and treats its whole-country row as the national figure, in any language.
Changes since 2.30.0.

- Headline figures use the publisher's own totals. Many statistics tables break each figure down by sex, age or another category. Where the publisher marks one value as the total (for example "Begge kjønn", "Hommes et femmes" or the code
_T), the map now shows that value. Before, OrionGIS recognised totals only by English words such as "Total" or "Both sexes". In other languages it could show one category as if it were the total. - Whole-country rows in any language. A row the publisher codes as the whole country (for example Statistics Norway's "Hele landet") is now read as the national figure, not as an area.
