GeoParquet and PMTiles downloads

Datasets that download in GeoJSON, Shapefile and the other vector formats now also download as GeoParquet and PMTiles.

Changes since 1.45.0.

#New

  • Two more download formats. Wherever a dataset downloads as GeoJSON, Shapefile, KML, GeoPackage, CSV or FlatGeobuf, you can now choose:

    • GeoParquet, a compact columnar file for analysis tools;
    • PMTiles, a single vector-tile file for web maps.

    This covers hosted datasets and statistics tables placed on the map.
