OrionAI chats, voice and the attribute table

OrionGIS web 1.32.0Released 3 November 2026

OrionAI conversations are saved and resumable, questions can be spoken and answered aloud, files can be attached, and data questions return their attribute table as part of the result.

Read the announcement: OrionAI remembers your chats, hears you, and hands you the table

Changes since 1.31.0.

#New

  • Chat history: every OrionAI conversation is saved server-side and listed under the clock button in the panel. Closing the panel or the browser no longer loses a chat: open the history, click a chat to continue it, press New for a fresh one, or delete chats you no longer need. Transcripts keep the answers, plan cards, step lists, result cards, colour keys, sources and action cards exactly as they were shown.
  • Attribute table as a result: when a Map Studio question asks for the numbers — counts, lists, values per area, tables — the result card carries the answer's attribute table (the result layer's columns, first rows and total) built in. For any other map result, Attribute table on the card opens it. Saved chats keep their tables too.
  • Voice in and out: press the microphone to speak your question (the transcript appears and sends when you stop), and Listen under any answer to hear it read aloud.
  • Attachments: the paperclip attaches a CSV, text, JSON, GeoJSON or Markdown file (up to 300 KB); its contents are sent with your question and the file shows as a chip on your message.
  • A modern panel: a redesigned Ask OrionAI panel — OrionAI header with history and new-chat buttons, an inviting empty state, navy question bubbles, an OrionAI avatar beside answers, a round send button, and a composer with attach, microphone and stop.

#Improved

  • The panel is slightly wider (440 px) so answers and tables have room to breathe.
