OGC API – Records and Croissant
OrionGIS web 1.39.0Released 7 November 2026
The catalogue's public records are searchable through OGC API – Records at /data/records, and tables have Croissant metadata for machine-learning tools.
Changes since 1.38.0.
#New
- OGC API – Records. The index's public records can be searched at /data/records, a standard OGC API – Records service. It supports search by area (
bbox), time (datetime), text (q) and ids, with paging. GIS tools that read OGC catalogues, such as QGIS's MetaSearch, can use it directly. Each record links to its dataset page, its ISO metadata and its STAC item. - Croissant metadata. A public table also has Croissant metadata (MLCommons Croissant 1.0) at
/api/data/<id>/croissant.json. It describes the dataset, its CSV download and its columns, so machine-learning tools can load it. The download is read live from the source and needs a sign-in.
