Your daily brief
OrionAI sums up what changed since yesterday on your Home page — new submissions, flagged entries, dashboard alerts and new related data — and can email it to you.
Your daily brief sits at the top of your Home page. It tells you what changed in the last 24 hours, so you don't have to open every form and dashboard to find out.
#What it covers
| In the brief | What it means |
|---|---|
| New submissions | How many entries each of your forms received, and from how many people |
| Flagged to check | Submissions OrionAI thinks need a second look (see Review submissions) |
| Dashboard alerts | Alerts you set that fired, or values that are still past your line (see Dashboard alerts) |
| New related data | New datasets in the catalogue that match your projects |
The first line is a short summary written by OrionAI from those numbers. Every number is counted directly from your data; OrionAI only puts it into words. If OrionAI is unavailable, you get a plain summary instead.
Each line links to the form, dashboard or dataset it is about.
#When it updates
OrionGIS builds a fresh brief early every morning (East Africa time). If you sign in before it has been built, it is built when you open Home. When there is news, you also get a notification in the bell at the top of the page.
You can also ask the Ask OrionAI panel "What's new?" or "What did I miss?".
#Get it by email
The email is off unless you turn it on.
- Open your profile.
- Under OrionAI, tick Email me my daily brief and dashboard alerts.
You get one email a day, plus an email when one of your dashboard alerts fires. Every email has a link to turn it off again.
Something missing or unclear? Tell us — we update the guide as the platform grows.
