Follow what you care about and OrionGIS tells you, in the notification bell, as soon as the data index sees a change.

#What you can follow

FollowWhereYou hear about
An areaFollow new data on a place's page (for example Kenya), Follow this area on a project's overview (its datasets' extent), or draw one on What I followNew datasets covering it. Optionally only one theme, and new satellite scenes from a collection you choose, under your cloud-cover limit
A themeFollow new data on a theme's pageNew datasets in that theme
A datasetFollow updates on its pageThe publisher updating it, it going offline, and it coming back
A portalFollow the publisher on a discovered dataset's pageNew datasets from that portal

Open What I follow from your profile menu to see everything you follow, stop following, or follow a new area: move the map to the area, name it, and choose a theme or an imagery collection if you like.

#Notifications

Changes are grouped: one notification per check, such as "12 new datasets for Meru". Click it to expand it in place:

  • the datasets, with thumbnails, View and Save
  • new satellite scenes with their date, cloud cover and quicklook
  • the area on a small map, and Open the area on a map (Data Explorer filtered to it)
  • Stop following

A notification is marked read when you expand or open it; Mark all read clears the rest. Filter the list by All, Data, Account or Billing.
