Link forms to a project
Attach a form to a project so its submissions become a data layer you can map — from a project's Forms tab — and create a map straight from a form.
A form belongs to your forms project, but a project is where you map, analyse and present its data. Linking connects the two.
#Link a form
- Open the project and go to its Forms tab.
- Choose to link a form and pick from your existing forms — or create a new one and link it.
The form now appears in the project's Data tab as a data layer. See Form data as a map layer.
#Map a form
From the project's Forms tab, choose Map submissions on a form. OrionGIS creates a map in the project with the form's submissions already on it and opens Map Studio. From the Maps tab, Map a form does the same thing. Or use Create map / Add to map… on the form's row in the Data tab.
#Live, not copied
A form layer reads the form's submissions each time you open it, so new submissions show up on the map without exporting or uploading anything.
#Unlink a form
Unlinking removes the form from the project (and its layer from the Data tab) but does not delete the form or any submissions.
